presses, Publishers & Vendors

Thank you  for your interest in selling bilingual children's books and/or related items at the 2021 NHCC Children’s Bilingual Book Festival. All submitted applications must be reviewed and approved by the festival organizing committee.  We will move through this process as quickly as possible in order to give you a reply.

All NHCC Children’s Book Festival vendors must be a good “fit” for the festival as described, below. If you aren't sure if your business complies, please email Cassandra Osterloh for additional information.

On Saturday and Sunday, April 17-18, 2021, the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) will host its annual
NHCC Children’s Bilingual Book Festival. The festival celebrates K-6 children’s books written in Spanish and English and Native languages and English.

The festival draws over 500 people and grows each year. Vendors give high marks to festival coordinators and are very satisfied with their book sales.

The focus on Spanish-English and Native Language-English books and authors (K-6) makes this festival particularly meaningful and vibrant, reflecting the identities of bilingual children, families and communities. We want to encourage children to see themselves in contemporary children’s literature as well as introduce a bilingual body of work to a wider audience.

The National Hispanic Cultural Center is devoted to the preservation, promotion and advancement of Hispanic culture, arts and humanities.  We present over 700 events per year with over 270,000 visitors annually. Our 20 acre campus includes a museum, performing arts center, historic history and literary arts building, and an education center.  We host several large festivals each year including Globalquerque and the Bosque Chile Festival.
